As a Microsoft partner and reseller for Microsoft Dynamics SL, Boyer & Associates has been using some form of web-based project timecard entry since the first release of Solomon Desktop — then BusinessPortal and more recently Dynamics SL WebApps.
There were some frustrating times in the early years with WebApps for Dynamics SL 2011 and SL 2015. The release of WebApps for SL 2018 greatly improved the performance and usability of WebApps and made it the most viable version since BusinessPortal.
Unfortunately, Dynamics SL 2018 WebApps is still not perfect and has usability and performance limitations that is still hindering its adoption.
Then along came WebApps Accelerator from The ERP Group LLC. Web Apps Accelerator (WAA) has greatly improved the performance and usability of Dynamics SL WebApps. I personally save about two hours every week entering my timecard with WAA vs SL WebApps alone.
WebApps Accelerator Time Entry includes:
- Faster performance
- Much improved user interface
- Sorting by columns
- Grouping time by Project or Customer
- Improvements to Comments and Notes
- Full support of all standard Dynamics SL functionality
- SL Versions supported: SL 2018 and SL 2015
