Dynamics GP and a Get/Change Error on Saving the Customer Card.
Recently a customer was trying to add an email address associated with one of the address IDs. When they tried to save the customer card they received the following error, “A get/change first operation on table ‘doCustBillingAddress’ (45).” We hadn’t seen this specific error before and a Bing search provided no guidance.In this scenario all the addresses associated with this vendor were set to PRIMARY. We created a new Address ID called MAIN and updated all the addresses to be associated with MAIN. Then we deleted the old Address ID PRIMARY. Saved customer card and error went away.
