Add a check figure to validate and warn you if there are accounts missing, duplicated, or if the formulas are wrong. The first step is to add a non-printing check figure to add up all your P&L accounts. Now, add a row that subtracts the calculated net income from the check figure and make it non-printing if it is zero.
