Since security has become more complicated in Dynamics GP, there are times when it becomes difficult to figure out what tasks a user needs assigned in order to access a certain window. This week’s Management Reporter tip for Microsoft Dynamics ERP is on P&L Check Figure.Ever wonder if you are pulling all the GL accounts and your formula is working correctly in your P&L row definitions? Add a check figure to validate and warn you if there are accounts missing, duplicated, or if the formulas are wrong. The first step is to add a non-printing check figure to add up all your P&L accounts. Now, add a row that subtracts the calculated net income from the check figure and make it non-printing if it is zero.
