Disable Word Templates in Dynamics GP for Printing
Today I am going to talk about how to change the default Report Type on reports in Microsoft Dynamics GP. Specifically, I have had some questions from customers wanting to know how to change the Report Type option default from Template to Standard when printing. Here is an example of the window:The reason this window says Template is that Word Templates have been enabled for this report within GP. If you’re still using Microsoft Dynamics SL 2011, you’re missing out on some great features available in SL 2015. Here are just a few of the features specifically in regards to reports:Reports can easily be emailed as attachments during print preview. Quick Query searches can be viewed on tablets and smartphones through web apps.
