The Microsoft Dynamics NAV User Group (NAVUG) will host its annual conference this fall. The NAVUG Summit is Oct. 10-13 in Nashville, Tenn.
NAVUG Summit is one of three key conferences for users of Microsoft Dynamics NAV. The Summit event is the largest of the three events and focuses on “peer-to-peer networking and education.”
Microsoft is the charter sponsor for the event, which is designed for all users of the company’s Dynamics NAV software. The event promises educational opportunities for administrators, IT and finance personnel, developers, NAV end-users and more.
The conference features more than 175 sessions broken up into tracks based on attendees’ industry, job role, skill level and software version. For example, an attendee can choose sessions that are focused specifically on how to optimize NAV’s finance tools or attend an entire series of “New 2 NAV” sessions.
Though not required, conference organizers suggest that attendees decide ahead of time which tracks or individual sessions they would like to attend to make the most of the conference.
Some sessions offer CPE credits for those who complete the session survey and request credit.
Want more formalized or in-depth training than the main conference sessions offer? Attendees can also pay an additional fee for premier sessions referred to as the Academy.
The Academy offers another 22 training sessions in a more formalized classroom setting with instructors and a hands-on atmosphere. Topics include Controller’s Boot Camp and Dynamics 365 for Financials Fast Track.
In case that’s still not enough to keep you busy, more than 50 exhibitors are already signed up to show their wares. Exhibitors include ChargeLogic, Jet Reports, Lanham Associates, Mergetool and Solver, each of whose add-on software tools enhance the capabilities of Dynamics NAV.
The deadline has already passed for early bird registration, but attendees can still save $200 by registering before Sept. 7. The advanced pricing fee for the four-day educational summit is $1,299 for members of the NAV User Group. Non-members pay an additional $400.
Both the Gaylord Opryland Resort and the Inn at Opryland have already sold out for Summit week, but additional hotel options are available. Get more details on NAV Summit or register today.
